I have effectively inserted a blog into my website and as such I am simply going to stop posting here, and post there more. There was simply no motivation for me to post here, but if I post on my website, it will feel less abandoned, and maybe I'll update the stories more often. Who knows.

Once again hassle in the guild because of non-defined rules. But as of last night things seem to be back to semi-normal. Just have to wait for them to rear their ugly heads again. Plus last night it would have behoved me to remember Muney's advice. Instead I wasted about a half hour of my life for little reason, and very possibly ruined someone else's. Good thing he was a jerk and I care very little.
Near has dinged 66 as of a day ago. Due to my laptop nearly burning itself to a crisp playing one instance of wow while home for the holidays, I dared not try and run two. As such, I played soley Near, having her gain a level on Isrio with no questing. I don't think it's really a big deal, as the largest hassle ends up being when Isrio can't pick up a quest due to level restraints, but I think after Blade's Edge, that will be a non-existant problem.
Near's 375 shadowcloth tailoring, and has all her shadoweave and spell strike made and gemmed. (Still no shoulder or head enchants.) She's also in OOB. I moved her over when she hit 65. No one's really as surprised as I thouht they'd be. Maybe some people still don't realize it's me, or they don't know I have a level 62 priest. Either way, she's getting closer and closer to raiding level.

It came out recently that JK Rowling has admitted that Dumbledore is gay. I happened to catch a glimpse of an article title on Google news as SD was scrolling past, but didn’t say anything at the time.
This morning on the way into work, one of the local radio personalities brought it up on the air. Asking more or less, why did she bring it out now after the fact, why it wasn’t in the book, and all that kind of thing. In general, “Why does it even matter?”
And my first thought was of course, “Because that’s how the character is.” But I realize that such a conclusion is not obvious to most people. It is something that could really only be understood by someone who has created a character before. A character often develops a life of its own. It doesn’t matter if it’s for a book, a movie, a video game, or whatever. A real author just knows this. For those of you who are less artistically inclined, I’ll give a shot at explaining it.
…I’m having a harder time with this than I thought I would. I’ve gone through several paragraphs of explanations that I’ve had to just throw away. The ways my characters have developed are as varied as they are. It’s impossible to just explain how one character developed and have that be an explanation for all of them.
I haven’t had children yet, but I think a character is a lot like having a child. You create it, whether on purpose or on accident. As it grows, the world around it shapes it. You have a direct influence into some of their personalities and traits, whether on purpose or subconsciously. The world itself has its influence. The other people with which they interact have their influence, and in the end they are their own person, unique and beautiful. The only difference is that a character starts off existing only in your mind, and so you are the only one who can either give it life, or toss it back into nothingness.
So what I’m trying to say is that just reading those books, you can tell how much love Rowling put into her characters. There could be a million reasons why Dumbledore developed into a gay character. As for why she didn’t say anything about it until now? Maybe she wanted to protect her character in that she did not want that fact to ‘taint’ how people saw Dumbledore. Maybe she wanted to make a point, by only mentioning it after the fact to prove that it didn’t matter. The fact of the matter is that it *doesn’t* matter that Dumbledore is, was, and forever will be, gay. He was a character that Rowling developed with loving care, and was generous enough to share with the world, so that we could also get to know him.

Life hasn't been to bad recently, I'd go as far as to say it was pretty okay. Had some work to do at work (omg, amazing, I know.) and so the day and a half I spent on that issue went by very quickly.
SD's been playing Makai Kingdom. The only one of Nippon Ichi's Disgaea-like games (besides Disgaea) that I have played that I think has actual replay value. Granted I have not yet played Disgaea II, though I have heard good things, and hope to sometime. La Prucelle (sp?) was too limited in its characters, though I guess if you thought of it more like a typical RPG with tactics style battle, it would be a lot better, but going into it expecting another Diagaea, I was disappointed. Phantom Brave was closer to being good, but the character "summoning" system got old fast, as characters only existing for a set amount of time made everything feel rushed. Makai Kingdom…I think the only real issue I had with it was the way the item system was handled. Not the items themselves, but organizing, using, moving items ended up being a huge chore, as well as doing the same with characters. The game play outside that was excellent, and I quite enjoyed it.

I discovered computers a little late. The first computer I ever had was a green screen…thing. I don't have a clue about anything other than that. I think we could play some games on it. I used it to start typing up stories I had, until then, kept on paper.
When I was in high school we got a slightly more modern computer. This one had a color screen, a dial-up modem, and probably Windows 95. A trial version of AOL later I was hooked, and I haven't looked back.
Now getting online did two major things for me. First, it changed my college aspirations from Equestrian Studies to Computer Science. (A change with which I'm sure my parents were thrilled.) Secondly, it nurtured my naturally developed writing talent, by introducing me to other people who wrote things.
Though I had a few original stories, the community into which I stumbled was Nintendo's BBS. A huge fan of Pokemon and Star Fox, I had fan fictions that I was more than happy to share. With more of a purpose, my writing increased. With fellow writers to review my work, my style improved, my ideas expanded out of fan fictions, and even though I have moved on from those communities, I gained a strong foot-hold there that has carried me forward.
So where am I going with this?
I am not happy with my current job. I should be. I am working with databases and website design, two things I discovered I liked the most. I am making good money. The company is good, the people are nice; I even have a 20 minute commute. Yet every day I wake up dreading going to work. I have used up all of my available sick time just avoiding going to work for the slightest excuse. I sit here bored at work. When I'm actually working, I'm usually pretty happy, but that doesn't make up for the downtime and the general dread at the thought of going to work. I hope, and yet dread the idea that they might fire me.
So out of the things that I listed above as liking, the only two off of which I could possibly make a living are computers and writing. (I like playing video games, not making them.) While I still like computers, I seem to have reached the point where I realize I'm not happy doing this work. As such, I'm going to continue writing, and see if that opens any doors.

Life making money's going pretty well. Few changes to the UI with the patch. I decided to grab gatherer, which I've heard good things about and disabling CT's "node" tracking, so that add on is down to the mail mod and the friends notes mod (plus giving me coordinates).
Solid Stars of Elune's prices have been driven into the ground. (Around 35g) Not that I mind, because the +16 ap Living Ruby pattern I got from my sister back in the day is still selling for about 50g a pop, and I have been getting a *lot* of living rubies. Mostly living rubies and nightseyes (which also sell decently).
I admit the new "wait an hour" thing on the AH is annoying, but not for the reason you're thinking. I don't really care if I have the money right away...but those mails in my box with their red "expiring in an hour" message on them just bugs the heck out of me. I open my mailbox and think I've somehow done something wrong.
Either way, I've sent almost 1000g to Hascloth in the past week, so keep it up for another month and I'll have my second epic flyer. And since there really isn't anything else I'm planning on needing to buy in that span of time, it should go pretty smoothly.
Of course! The price on Fel lotus is beyond ridiculous. I need three more flasks of RA to replenish Nabtih's stock, and 5 flasks of fort to replenish Pand's. 8x20 = way too much! I'm just glad I can cook and fish for myself.
And speaking of 'way too much', I went and did something silly. Well a lot of people will think it's silly. I'm quite happy with myself.
So Blizzard put out a WoW TCG. Not interested in any more tcgs (Ohh pokemon...how I miss you.) I really never paid much attention to it. Well apparently there are these special cards in each set called "loot cards" and they, as you could easily guess, give you loot. See the card has a scratchable film under which is a code that can be entered in game for fun little toys. There was a unique tabard, and a little dumb looking hippogriff pet, and some other stuff about which I really didn't care. I saw them around in the game. Kinda cool, but eh.
So I heard about a new loot card in the most recent set that gives you a spectral tiger mount. Same model as the normal elf sabers, but transparent, and glowy. Seen pictures, and even saw it in game once. It is most impressive. Well I bet you know where this is going. I wanted one. So I got one.

Yes I come here when I'm upset or bored. Bored, of course means the topics are not emo, and usually much longer. Enjoy.
Guild's doing pretty good. We're having ins and outs, but since the addition of the raiding roster, our raids have been much more solid, as well as letting us know how many more people we actually need to recruit. (Which reminds me, after this I have to throw up a recruitment post.) Also with as well as we've been doing, we've been getting some really geared/skilled people apping.
Saturday was a little bit of a pain. Sometime right before 7 Outland crashed, kicking me (and everyone else) offline where I was chatting on Pand. I was able to log onto Hasbugs who is in IF, and /who shattrath to have a '0' returned. Outland didn't come back up until about 7:20, so we got a bit of a late start, and some people never got on for raid. I ended up having Nabith and Pand there most of the Hydross attempts. Nabith was just there for Aspect of the Wild. I was actually playing Pand since we didn't have enough tanks. I did a very good job, if I do say so myself, though now I need a few more flasks as I used up my last one. Considering we were down two people (had 24 with two of my chars in the raid) we did surprisingly well. We were actually keeping up on damage, and just had some more troubles on transitions. But then that is the hard part of the fight after all. Overall we are improving, and I think we'll have him down soon.
Also been having a member of SPG hanging out with us recently, as he gets bored on his guild's off nights, and they're focusing in TK, so he can hit SSC with us with no worries. His warrior's Hawkrage and his priest is Faythie. Pretty nice guy. He's been giving us some advice with the Hydross fight as well.
Got Near and Isrio to level 44. They're coming along very slowly, and as much as I'd love to have Isrio level 68 (at least) to go around farming herbs and such, I'm still not in any rush. Hanging out in Feathermoon right now.
Made a belf priest, Jerelyn, (All my other names were taken.) on Destromath (I think that's how you spell it) a pvp realm that a few people from the guild rolled on for fun. Dunno if I'll ever play her, but she's there now.
Still fighting with myself over just getting Pand through Shadow Labyrinth for the rep she needs. Patch is out today, so maybe the gem pattern sitting there taunting me will be enough. Maybe once I get revered it will be easier to think forward to exalted, but I dunno.
Found a little trick on the wow forums that I tried out. Made a decent amount of money this weekend with it, and I plan on keeping it up since it's actually fun for me, and as long as I don't flood the market, I could see making money at a decent enough clip that I could look an epic flyer for Nabith.
So here's what I do: Step 1: Go out and farm ore on Pand. Yet again making myself glad that I gave my epic flyer to the char with a farming profession. I can usually get about two stacks of each adamantite and fel iron ore in an hour and a half or so. Along with 2-3 primal earth and a half a primal fire, and some random gems and eternium/khorium ore. Since I had CT Map Mod, I already had a number of node spawn locations on my map, and so I began working out paths to follow that went along the less traveled, node producing areas. Step 2: Have Pand prospect all of the adamantite ore she picked up. On average, I get one blue per stack prospected. Sometimes all talasites, sometimes all stars of elune. And of course I get uncommon gems and the dust. The dust gets sold*. Step 3: Pand turns the fel iron ore into bars, and using that and blood garnets, azure moonstones, deep peridots, and golden draenites, make level 61-63 rings. Flame spessarite and shadow draenite get sold**. Step 4: I bring out Nabith and trade all of the rings to her, which I then disenchant for arcane dust, lesser planer essences, and small prismatic shards. When I have a nice pile, I trade these mats back to Pand. Step 5: Pand cuts Star of Elune, Living Ruby, Noble Topaz, Nightseye into the sellable patterns I have for them. Step 6: Pand sends all gems, enchanting mats, and primals (sans earth) to Hasbugs. And sends Amebil the primal earth. Step 7: Hasbugs throws everything up on the AH at Auctioneer determined prices, while keeping a lookout for good prices on adamantite ore, gems, and jc patterns. Step 8: Amebil logs on every day to transmute the primal earth into primal water. Those are also sent to Hasbugs for AHing. Step 9: Kinda outside the above steps, is taking Nabith to a nice quiet place and fishing, and then cooking up what I catch. Some fishies sell really well.
If I'm unlucky in general, this can still net me almost 150g. Lucky prospects can increase this by almost 200g. Plus I could do it more than once a day if I so choose. The only issues are other miners, and flooding the market on the AH.
*Still working on what to do with adamantite powder. For now I've been selling it, but I'm going to look into perhaps if it's more profitable to AH it. (Price isn't all that good last I looked.) Or perhaps, since I'm getting so much more primal earth than I can transmute quickly, turning it into mercruial adamntite and seeing how well that will sell. **Trying to decide if it's worth cutting these two gems, or even just selling them raw on the AH. Haven't had much luck with them, so I've been taking the easy route and vendoring them.
And yeah, you look at that and say "Well on average she's not making any more than she would doing dailies." And the truth of the matter is, yes I am. I was so bored with the tediousness of daily quests that I had stopped doing them completely. When I did do them, I was generally unhappy and/or frustrated, and just not *enjoying* the game. And with two accounts I was getting double the money for the same amount of work, and I still didn't feel it was worth it.
Flying around mining is fun to me. Especially going as fast as a paladin does on an epic flyer. Dodging in and out of obstacles, watching for the little yellow dot on the ground. Don't have as much time? Do a quick circuit of one zone, and throw what you get in the bank for later. Or go fishing, and just relax and read guild chat. Can also use fishies for raid, which is handy.
All in all, this is just more enjoyable to me as a way to get money. Yeah it might be a little slower than dailies, but it's what I like, and technically I can do the dailies every now and again on top of this. So my next goal is an epic flyer for Nabith.

Generally upset at life. I don't like this job, but as I have said in the past, there is no reason for me not to except my own stupidity. The work is stuff I enjoy (programming and databases) the people are nice, helpful, and don't stand over your shoulder. The building is comfortable, not to hot or two cold. The drive is 15 min tops from home. And yet I still sit here from 1-4 completely and totally bored off my rocker. Maybe it is my own fault, maybe I should be asking for more work, but half the time when I do ask they have nothing for me to do anyway, and even if they don't, my boss is the type who just keeps talking. You know, the kind where you're walking away, out of sight, and they're still talking to you, so I like to avoid starting a conversation with him whenever possible.
Alright, recent anime series:
Kaze no Stigma: Mages exist in the world, and a well known family the Kannagi are the strongest fire mages evar. The boy who would have inherited the head position in the clan is born without the ability to control fire, and is shunned out of the clan. (Like full, 'You shouldn't exist' from his parents.) He comes back ~10 years later, having "contracted" with the King Spirit of the Wind, and now has leet wind powers. Watching Kaze no Stigma it's stupid and cliche, but entertaining. Entertaining in a very sappy, overly romantic/annoying sort of way. Seriously, I'm warning you, not recommending it. It had some good action, and then fell into the head of the Kannagi trying to get the powerful and pompus (but surprisingly kind-hearted) Kazuma to hook up with his hot-headed, Enriha wielding (but surprisingly shy) daughter Ayano by sending them out to kill demons. (I have no clue where the family gets all that freaking money.) Also beware bright, bright hair and eyes.
Code Geass: Britania (Yeah try and figure that one out.) took over the world, and made the Japanese into their colony, calling them Elevens, and generally repressing them. (Japan is known as Area 11.) So Leluch was royalty until his mother was killed (and his sister paralyzed and blinded in shooting) and so he took her and went into hiding among the Elevens, secretly plotting against the rest of the family. He stumbles across a green haired girl who gives him the power to force a suggestion into anyone he can meet eyes with, thus putting his plotting into action. Did I mention his childhood friend (who is an Eleven) works for Britania? I just yesterday realized that 24-25 of Code Geass actually *is* the end of the season. That cliffhanger was not nice. I was hoping there wouldn't be much after episode 23, but now this means there has to be another season, or nothing gets resolved. Character design by CLAMP, but the story is not. Too many mechas and not enough boy-love. Be prepared for random characters to look extremely demented at a moment's notice.
Claymore: Yomas are powerful creatures that only eat humans "guts". (Seriously, every fansubber uses this translation.) As a response, a secret organization with no name, created powerful fighters (That humans call Claymores, though they don't accept that title.) by putting yoma blood into humans, transforming them into powerful fighters with blond hair and silver eyes. (Yeah, they're all female, they explain that later.) These fighters go around killing Yoma for payment (which goes right to the orginization) while being shunned for the yoma blood inside them. I am still eating up Claymore as quickly as I can get it. The one problem is that there's only so much you can do with hair when it's all the same color, and they're all wearing the same freaking outfit. I even get the main character mixed up sometimes when there's more than one Claymore on the screen at the time. However, it's still a great series It's hit one of those situations where even if everyone present goes super sayian, it still would not be feasible for them to get out of this alive. Glad I stumbled onto it. Deus ex Machina?
Romeo x Juliet: Neo Verona is suffering under the cruel hand of Count Montague who killed off the Capulets many years ago, and took the city, turning it into a place where the rich are very rich and the poor suffer. Enter Romeo, the kind hearted boy, (Who grew up this way despite an ice cold dad, and his mother running off to a monastery when he was like...five.) who unwittingly saves omg Juliet who is a Capulet but is the last one (we mean it this time) and is acting under a false name in order to protect Neo Verona and is pretending to be a boy in order to not get caught, but still falls in love at first sight. Did I mention the magic tree under the city that's withering away? Also lots of irises. I am still having a very very hard time convincing myself to watch Romeo X Juliet. The story is amazing, the characters are likable, the animation is stunning but not overwhelming, but I know they're going to die...and that just depresses me beyond words. Kind of like not wanting to play FF7 past where I am because I know Aeris is going to die.
D Gray-man: There's this boy, with a demon hand, that he uses to destroy Akuma, these...ugly things that are created by the Millennium Earl (A total Pierrot le Fou rip off.) by tricking a person into calling back the soul of someone they love who died and trapping it in some kind of frame. The Akuma then generally climbs inside the one who called them back and wears them around a la Men in Black. Can't really spoil this series because I've seriously seen like three episodes. Downloading more D Gray-man because of the numbers on the download torrents. I watched apparently the first two or three episodes and found it just too boring. (and the animation style a bit creepy) There wasn't anything about it I didn't like, so the fact that new episodes are seeing 2000+ seeds sends up a flag that the story improves, so I'll give it another shot. I never really did get to know any of the other main characters.
Devil May Cry: According to SD, between the two "good" games, 1 and 3. Dante's the half "akuma" (Which is translated into demon or devil by different people. I assume they pick devil because of the name of the shop, as I've never seen akuma translated into devil before this series.) of a devil who protected the human world and then died sealing the portal between the devil and human worlds. Dante is a lazy butt who runs a "do anything" shop, but generally only takes jobs where he kills other devils who have gotten to this world while generally looking bad-@$$ while doing it. Devil May Cry is still visually stunning, but I am hoping and praying for the hints at that ongoing plot to actually manifest into something other than random one shots. My only regret is that the little girl in the first episode is actually in the opener. She's just a pain in the butt. Watching it for the beautiful anime and the fight scenes.
Poop, that didn't last me till 4 like I was hoping...

Gruul's down twice, Mag's on the run, and Koi, Amber, and Therk are suddenly no where to be found. Only one Kara group this week (still no Legacy) because only 16 people showed up both days. Also the pretty substantial rumor is new expansion being announced at Blizzcon. I'm rather pissed, and I hope it doesn't come out in January like people are saying. That is not enough time for anyone but the most hardcore of guilds to get through content. January 2009, sure, that's fine.
Near and Isrio are level 32 Pandemonium and Nabith have done next to nothing in the past week I have little to no gold I have gotten closer to finishing coloring the Ivory and Pyro pic I have I started watching Bleach again. Filler arc better end soon Work is still boring No news on moving to Blacksburg

We downed Maulgar with a fabulous group on Friday as well as getting Gruul down to 21%, but ended up 5 people short (yet again) Saturday, so both red and blue teams finished off Karazhan. It was my first time on the Netherspite fight. It was pretty interesting. I like it more than the Illhoof fight for sure. I've also decided that if the belt drops off chess when there is no rogue who needs, I will be bidding on it. It's a fabulous dps belt with two red slots, and since we do that more often than Illhoof, I think getting it might come about before the belt off Illhoof.
I took a page from Amber who leveled up her draenei shaman, and gnome rogue at the same time, and transfered Isrio to the account on which Nabith is now so that she and Near can level up together. (Isrio is herbalism/skinning.) As an update, Near is 21 and Isrio is 23. Been hanging around with SD's draenei shaman who is level 26. It's a lot of fun, and pretty easy going for the most part. And since I'm not worried about trying to level up as fast as possible, it's also pretty fun.
Tomorrow is no work, one of the few actual holidays I get in this company. Tonight will be Karazhan, and tomorrow I'll probably do a few daily quests, and then work on Near and Isrio if SD's up for it.
Also, the stupid TV that I ordered over two weeks ago is currently sitting in Baltimore, and has been since the 29th. I'm rather pissed. I got it from Amazon, but it's using some postal service I haven't heard of. It's not UPS, Fed Ex, or DHL. Either way I sent them an email and hope they can do something about it. When it gets here I can finally start playing Twilight Princess. Yay!

As a writer, I appreicate a well written storyline that pulls in the viewer/reader/player in such a way as to elicit an honest emotional response from them.
Until yesterday, I had three times when a storyline had honestly made me cry. Not just a tear for a sad ending, or a particurarly emotional moment, but a point in which I am actually temportarily so effected that there is a noticable effect to the world around me, not only at the time, but also in retrospect of the event.
1) Fantastic Children. A virtually unknown anime that I stumbled across somehow, and that sat on my computer forgotten for the longest time until I finally gave it a shot. It's old style art, but the characters and storyline are well crafted. For at least a week after I had finished this series, I would still cry whenever hearing the opening theme because of just the powerful effect the story and characters had left on me. It's a shame the series was not more popular than it was.
2) Full Metal Alchemist - Episode 25. It is very *very* hard to kill off a main character and not only elicit a strong response from the audience, meaning the character had to be likable, memorable etc, but not ruin the entire show/book. I have to admit this is the weakest of the four, as I only cried immediatly after it had happened, and thought about it very little afterward.
3) Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. You knew there was a reason I kept mentioning books, and even though most everyone knows this story, I'll keep with my idea of "no spoilers" in saying this is almost identical to number 2.
4) Code Geass - Episode 23. The plot twist simply blew me away. I can't believe what they did. I can't believe they did it and still expect the audience to still associate with the main character. I had trouble getting to sleep last night. Heck, I didn't even like the character all that much.

Let's face it, this has really become my wow journal. As not much else exciting happens in my life (or is sharable. Eep.) so on that note:
Nabith 70 Night Elf Hunter Marksmanship Enchanting 375, Skinning 375 Raika 70 Wind Serpent Xekkar 70 Warp Stalker Cat (yet to change) 35 Cat To do: Level and name Cat. Legacy and Sunfury from Karazhan. Pants and gloves from Gruul.
Pandemonium 70 Draenei Paladin Protection Jewelcrafting 380, Mining 375 To do: 5200g for epic flying mount. Revered with Lower City and Sha'tar Exalted with Skyguard and Netherwing
No more attunments for SSC and Eye really cut into the things I need to do. I still am glad about the change, as long as Blizzard doesn't start nerfing stuff so people can down bosses they have no right (gear wise) downing.
Amebil 63 Human Warlock Demonology Alchemy 363, Herbalsim 375 To do: Level 68 for transmute mastery Level 70 for flying mount to get mana thistle
Melannie 61 Human Priest Holy Mining 354, Tailoring 361 To do: Keep making cloth
Near 14 Draenei Priest Shadow Herbalism 73, Skinning 95 To do: Enjoy leveling her up, 70 eventually

Nabith and Pandemonium are both 70, and trying to do daily quests. I have 4.5k gold 700 to go. I'm pretty happy with the meals I've been making recently. I am not snacking as much. Our sink looks pretty nasty. I love where I live. I could never live anywhere without trees. I have to pay my bills by the end of the week. I still don't have tons to do at work. I have complete and total writers block. I have three games waiting to be played at home. We have a 40" TV to arrive next week. I will be playing Zelda by next weekend with any luck. I have chewed on my nails a little too much. I am getting plenty of sleep.

Started off today depressed. Moved into feeling pretty okay.
In other news:
Pandemonium is four bars from 66, and 375 in mining. Nabith is 8236/12000 honored with The Consortium. My pokemon in my diamond game are still level 16. My FF12 game is waiting at the beginning of the Sandsea. Baten Kaitos Origins is still in the first city. World building for a story based on a dream I had. Disgaea 2 is still un-purchased. There is a Wii in a box sitting next to the TV. There is no way to connect the Wii to the TV. (Yes, we knew before we bought the Wii.) The Wii has no memory card or games. Our garbage disposal smells like something crawled into it and died. There are mouse turds behind the microwave. I got a beautiful piece of wood with hummingbirds painted on it. RAW is on tonight. My tooth still hurts, even after two adjustments. I have to clean out the refrigerator tonight. The Claymore anime rocks. Nanoha season three, still sugary sweet and still fun to watch.

Apparently I can't get my title transferred over to MD until my car is inspected by this state. I know I've been here over two months now. I am lazy and I hate people. I put it off for a long time. I finally got around to it, called Butler Auto something and they said to bring it in. I went in, and they said they might not be able to get to it today (Tuesday) and suggested a place that sometimes takes their overflow just down the street. Well SD was working from home in order to drive me to and from work while my car was in the shop, so I agreed in order to get this done. Went to the other place, which ended up being an Exxon. Went to work. Worked. Called around 3 to ask if my car was done, and I was told it was. SD picked me up and off we went to the Exxon, only to find they hadn't even started on it. Guy told us to give him a half-hour. I agreed. I mean what else were we supposed to do? We went and got dinner, went back, paid for the car drove it home. It was over. Just had to take it to the MVA to finalize everything.
Well today at work I flipped to the page just to look it over, see what kinds of things were on it, when at the bottom of the paper, I noticed that "failed" had been circled. I stared at it a few minutes, and now I am livid. That's the only place on the entire thing that says failed, a little place at the bottom. I never would have noticed it had I not been bored at work. Bugger is I can't even really tell what's wrong. There are a few Xs on the paper, which I can only hope the mechanic I take it to will be able to interpret, cause I'm sure not taking it back to the Exxon for the work. Of course, unless I want to pay another $75, 75 dollars! for an inspection, I have to take it back to that Exxon to get it re-inspected.
Right now I'm pissed that this is still not over, pissed that I have to call people with no clue what's wrong except that it failed, and hope that they actually have time this time to take care of my poor little car. Man, I wanna punch something right now. What a poo.

While you're leveling to the max level of 70, you normally go into things called instances, which are usually some sort of area/building you have to go through, killing the bad guys inside and defeating the boss, only unlike the normal world, where everyone on a server is competing for the same mobs (monsters) to kill, and instance is just that. It's a specific "instance" of that area that you go into with a group, consisting of five people, and you work together (or are supposed to) in order to defeat the more powerful mobs inside.
Well when you get to 70, there is no more leveling up. Your character does not gain any more experiance, no matter what you do, so the challange presented at this point, is upgrading your gear. You start out at level 1 with gray items, worthless things that exist only to be sold. You then upgrade as you level to white and green, which can be bought or drop off mobs, then blue items which drop off bosses in instances. As the color changes, the item is more "rare" and thus usually has better stats. Well after blue comes purple items, which are epic quality. These items drop off bosses in instances, but these instances are harder. Since you're already max level, they make it necessary to have more people. From 10 to 25 depending on the instance.
Tonight, our guild is making it's first run at Karazhan, the first 70-endgame instance. It is 10 man, we don't have a priest, and I doubt we're well geared enough for it, but I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I seriously want to just leave work, but then that won't make 8 come any faster. Look for updates this weekend on how things went. Good or bad, I'll post it.

As much as I said I would play Pandemonium up to 70 right away, I found myself a level and a half behind the leveling guide I am using. Faced with the idea of grinding out an entire level, I made the decision to let my rested xp build up for a while, and during that time, I am leveling up Amebil, while Panda sits at level 38, as she has since Sunday. If I switch back and forth, and play Nabith during my time off, I should be able to level both of them up mostly on rest xp which will make things much more plesant.
And right now my hands smell overpowering. There's a new soap in the bathroom, and it's so strong it's making my nose itch and my eyes want to water. Grrr.

I finally have my Karazhan attunment. We (Koi, Amber, Therk, Koho, and I) finished The Black Morass last night (after wiping thrice the night before) and we did it so well, we decided to clear it again. I ended up getting my Helm of Desolation, while Therk got his new gloves. It was actually a lot of fun, and since we'll need to run it more to get people attuned, hopefully I'll be able to get the very cool chest piece (as seen above) at some point. Now it's just time to gear up. Oh, and I need to get my enchanting up.
Pandemonium is almost level 32 now, chilling in Southshore for the moment. Don't love this area, but it isn't too bad. The leveling guide seems to be working very well considering how little time I put into her. No clue how long it'll take me to get to 70, I guess it depends on how soon we start raiding again.
